Mel Rodriguez is an award-winning writer/director. Beginning in 2004 as an editor, Mr. Rodriguez edited the indie feature "Drop Dead Sexy", a comedy starring Jason Lee and Crispin Glover. More film editor work followed including a Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winning documentary ("We Live in Public", 2009). In 2009, Rodriguez formed Insomniac Films and partnered with producer Damiano Tucci. In 2010, Rodriguez and Tucci formed a commercial division of Insomniac Films with Insomniac Content, dedicated exclusively to producing dynamic commercials and web content. Rodriguez is at work on his feature film debut, the dark comedy "In Stereo", to be followed up by crime thriller "Columbia Ave." Rodriguez is represented by Mark Holder at Zero Gravity Management.
